Let this song speak in behalf of my heart for now.
Yet
All my heads are tails She's got teary eyes I've got reasons why I'm losing ground And gaining speed I've lost myself Or most of me I'm ready for the final precipice
But you haven't lost me yet No, you haven't lost me yet I'll sing until my heart caves in No, you haven't lost me
These days pass me by I dream with open eyes Nightmares haunt my days Visions blur my nights I'm so confused What's true or false What's fact or fiction after all I feel like I'm an apparition's pet
But you haven't lost me yet You haven't lost me yet I'll run until my heart breaks in No, you haven't lost me yet Oo, oo, yeah
If it doesn't break If it doesn't break Yeah, if it doesn't break your heart it isn't love Now if it doesn't break your heart it's not enough It's when you're breaking down with your insides coming out It's when you find out what your heart is made up of
And you haven't lost me yet No, you haven't lost me yet I'll sing until my heart caves in No, you haven't lost me yet
Hey, here are more videos I recorded at KL Sing Song 2009 for your viewing pleasure. :)
David Knight with the very brilliant Borderline Schizo. His falsetto does remind me of Thom Yorke but he does possess a distinct bittersweet, world-weary quality in his voice.
Sharidir & Nizam P are brilliant! Seriously, when they come up with an EP I'm sure to buy one. They are that good! I would have recorded more videos if not for my camera dying on me that day. Well, I don't know the official title for this song, so I'll just call it "Bulan Terang Disinari Purnama". :)

On another note, I ended my last class in college on Tuesday. I have always wished for college life to end faster but now that it's here, I'd wished college life would last a little longer. Maybe I'm just feeling a little emo and slightly fearful of what lies next in life for me.
But at this age, I really do need to join the rat race and I have stalled it long enough.
After a whirlwind of crazy few weeks, I finally could take a breather too. Am applying for my internship which will begin at the end of this month. Think I'm finally decided on al-Jazeera, although some has expressed fear that I may not learn much in such a high-level news institution. It was either this or Personal Money magazine or The Edge.
But I still do have one more assignment due next week so yeah- it's not really over yet.
And to all the friends I made in Taylor's, thanks for making my time here really enjoyable and not as bad as I expected.
Adapting to college life after one year of freelancing was not really easy, but you guys made me feel like I'm 19 all over again (besides from dating a much younger and hotter girlfriend).
Ok, that's all. And I'll be watching 2012 this Saturday evening. Word is, something exciting is going to happen. ;)
Here are some videos I recorded at the recent KL Sing Song held at The Annexe Gallery on 1 Nov 2009. I went with Cindy for the last day which featured the amazing Yuna, Otam, David Knight from California, Nik, Ray & Ash, Otam, Najwa with her amazing vocals, and Sharidir & Nizam P.
All the acts were amazing on their own but the highlight has to be the inspired impromptu jaimming sessions.
Story for NST will come soon but until then, here are the videos. Enjoy. :)
Yuna performs one of her latest songs- Random Awesome.
David Knight has an arresting voice which really fits his melancholic music achingly perfect.
Otam sings the tender Ku Telan Rasa.
Otam is joined by the amazingly talented Sharidir & Nizam P. It's a long intro but it's worth the wait.
